Absolutely terrible app. Every time I open it, it says "No device found." Even after waiting and searching for what feels like forever, it still can't detect my device. Sometimes it finds the device, but most of the time it doesn't. I've never seen such an unreliable app from a company as well-known as TP-Link. The hardware may be good, but the app is completely inconsistent and frustrating to use. This seriously needs to be fixed.

I wanted to subscribe to the security plus feature but after I did it didn't show up in the tether app and kept telling me I had already subscribed when I tried to fix the issue. I tried to get a hold of customer service and kind of was given the runaround and never got a solution to the problem. now I've missed my whole trial period without even being able to try it out.... big bummer

Was suffering high latency issues playing my game system. extreme lag and all making my game unplayable. my dad and I found the Cheap TP Link router at Walmart for $25 decided to give it a shot and low and behold TP Links 5G router for only $25 resolved all our issues. 100% satisfied here and 100% recommend before going and buying expensive high end networking equipment. The app itself makes for super easy management of the routers name, password, settings, and allowed linkages.
